Sensory Services Lab

Sensory Services Lab

The sensory services lab provides consultation, services and education to food and non-food industries both nationally and internationally. Services include sensory evaluation and consumer research on flavor, texture, appearance, acceptance or product liking of foods, ingredients, personal care and pharmaceutical products, fragrances, and textiles or paints.

The LSU AgCenter Food Innovation Institute (FOODii) helps entrepreneurs, food manufacturers, and agricultural businesses transform ideas into successful food products. Through research-based solutions, product development support, food safety expertise, sensory testing, marketing assistance, and specialized training, FOODii provides the resources needed to innovate, grow, and compete in today's food marketplace.
